Catch a Brainrot updates & patch notes
Catch a Brainrot went public on Roblox on July 10, 2026, roughly two weeks after Indieun's original June 26 target. This log tracks every dated milestone from the May 22 trailer reveal through the launch-week patch, so you know exactly when the turn-based CHARGE battle system, the 36-Brainrot Brain Index, and the Tong Coin economy each arrived. As of today, July 13, 2026, the experience is holding near 9,790 concurrent players against 1,446,272 total visits, 10,901 favorites, and roughly a 92% like rating on 12-player servers. No redemption codes exist yet; Indieun has not shipped a code system, and any future ones would post to discord.gg/indieun and @Indieun on X.
How to follow patches
Indieun ships Catch a Brainrot changes directly to the live Roblox place (140063367098641), so you pull the newest version simply by rejoining the experience. There is no separate patch download and no in-game changelog board at launch, which means dated notes like the ones below are assembled from the developer's own posts on discord.gg/indieun and @Indieun on X plus community trackers watching the place during launch week.
Two systems are worth checking after any update. First, the capture box ladder in the shop: it runs Wooden/Rot Box (Common) into Golden Box Level 9 (Uncommon), Level 15 (Rare), and Level 22 (Epic), and those unlock thresholds are tied to Index XP you earn by registering catches. Second, the Brain Index roster itself, which currently holds 36 Brainrots spanning Common names like Penguino Cocosino up to Epics such as Chicleteira Bicicleteira and Lirili Larila. If either the box levels or the roster count shifts, that is your clearest signal a balance or content patch landed. New players deciding where to start can read the starter guide or browse the full Brainrot list before committing a save.

Launch-week patch
Indieun ships a stability pass the day after release while concurrent players hover near 9,790 and visits climb past 1.4 million. Server capacity holds at 12 players, and the turn-based CHARGE battle loop, where skills like Splash and Shield gray out until the Charge bar fills, stays intact. No redemption codes are added.

Catch a Brainrot launches
Public release on Roblox after a roughly two-week delay from the original June 26 target. Players enter the Rot Lab to pick one starter from Triple T Sahur, Fluri Flura, or Boneca Ambalabu, then explore World One to weaken and box wild Brainrots into a 36-entry Brain Index.
